Walking in God's grace and sharing His love with families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Christy Cronier - Montgomery AL

Christy Cronier lives in Montgomery and attends Landmark Church of Christ with her son, Tapley.  Christy enjoys anything fun and crafty, loves spending time with friends and being involved with different activities. She is known as “Crafty Christy” in the Footprints family and loves coming up with fun t-shirt designs and holiday “happies” for ministry events and NICU visits.

In December 2002 Christy’s son was born at Baptist East Montgomery Medical Center at 30 weeks weighing just over 2lbs. She and her husband were blessed to have a huge support system in place and were showered with love and prayers from their church family, friends and family members. After going through a roller coaster of emotions and ups and downs, Tapley was able to leave the hospital 7 weeks later. Christy has stayed in touch with the nurses and doctors after their “stay” in the NICU because they have been more like extended family than medical staff.

In 2007, Kim Wilson asked Christy to attend a meeting that would ultimately be the beginning of this amazing ministry. Coming at the perfect time after Christy lost her husband in 2006, she was ready to be a part of something that would allow her to share love with those she could relate to and also see the incredible hand of God at work through Footprints. She is thankful for the opportunity of being involved with the Footprints and seeing her son grow up helping ,”babies like me”, as Tapley likes to share when he volunteers.

I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. Psalm 9:1
