Walking in God's grace and sharing His love with families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Kim Wilson - Montgomery AL

Kim Wilson is the founder of the Footprints Ministry. She and her husband, Glenn, have two sons: John Parker and Jake. Because of their NICU experience, the Footprints Ministry was born. John Parker was born in 2006 and was admitted to the NICU for a collapsed lung and pneumonia. Thankfully he had a short stay in the NICU, but the experience left a long lasting impact on their family’s hearts

During first year of John Parker’s life, Kim felt a strong tug at her heart to do something for the NICU. She tried to fight the tug by reminding the Lord how she felt unequipped and inadequate to start a ministry. One day, while in her kitchen, The Lord brought her to her knees. She prayed a very simple prayer-“Use me Lord.” And from the moment forward, the Lord began an amazing work through the Footprints Ministry.

The biggest blessing for Kim is serving. She watches the NICU parents demonstrate astounding faith, during the most difficult time in their lives. She and her team also see daily miracles performed in the lives of the Footprints babies. It is an honor and blessing is to pray for these little miracles each day. Once you are a part of the Footprints Ministry, you join their forever family. It is incredibly rewarding to watch our Footprints babies grow. Attending baptisms, baby dedications, kindergarten graduations, and birthday parties for our NICU miracles brings us so much joy. The Footprints team is constantly amazed at what the Lord has done!

I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. Psalm 9:1
