"Libby was born June 14, 2014 weighing 6 lbs 15 oz . She was full term and it was a shock to everyone that she was born so sick. We thought after a perfectly normal and healthy pregnancy we were home free. God paved the way for Footprints to enter our lives and Lurenda Avery, the Birmingham Footprints coordinator, showed up at our house with a sweet bag and prayed with us. It is a terrible, lonely position to be in with your child, and Footprints made us feel like we were not alone. After 38 days, we were able to bring our sweet girl home. They had a precious welcome home sign and balloons. Libby has a tough fight ahead of her and we are so thankful for her Footprints prayer warriors."
